Breezefield Gundogs and Dog Training
These Terms and Conditions apply to all training services provided by Breezefield Gundogs and Dog Training and the use of our website www.breezefieldgundogs.co.uk.
By booking or attending a training session, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Services
Breezefield Gundogs and Dog Training provides one-to-one (1-to-1) dog training sessions.
Training sessions are designed to provide tailored guidance and training for both the dog and handler.
Current training rate:
£40 per hour
Session availability, location, and structure will be agreed at the time of booking.
2. Booking and Payment
All training sessions must be booked in advance.
For online bookings:

A £20 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your session

The deposit will be deducted from the total session cost
For bookings made directly via phone or message:
-
No deposit is required unless otherwise agreed

The remaining balance is payable at the time of the session unless agreed otherwise.
Breezefield Gundogs and Dog Training reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings at its discretion.
3. Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a training session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice where possible.

Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a rescheduled session, provided sufficient notice is given

Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in the full session fee being charged
Breezefield Gundogs and Dog Training reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to circumstances outside our control, including illness, severe weather, or unsafe training conditions. Where possible, alternative dates will be offered.
4. Handler Responsibility
The dog’s owner or handler remains fully responsible for their dog at all times during training sessions.
Handlers must ensure that:

Their dog is under control at all times

Their dog is fit and healthy to attend training

Their dog is up to date with vaccinations where appropriate

They follow all instructions given by the trainer

Breezefield Gundogs and Dog Training reserves the right to stop or terminate a session if a dog or handler behaves in a way that may pose a risk to people, dogs, livestock, or property.
5. Clothing and Footwear
Training sessions take place outdoors in countryside environments.
Handlers and any accompanying persons are responsible for wearing appropriate clothing and suitable footwear for uneven, wet, or potentially hazardous terrain.
Breezefield Gundogs and Dog Training accepts no liability for injury or damage resulting from unsuitable clothing or footwear.
6. Bitches in Season
Bitches in season may attend one-to-one training sessions; however, prior notice must be given.
Failure to provide advance notice may result in the session needing to be rescheduled.
7. Dog Behaviour and Owner Liability
Handlers are responsible for ensuring that their dog does not pose a danger to people, other dogs, livestock, or property.
By attending a training session, the owner confirms that their dog:

Is not known to be dangerously aggressive unless disclosed in advance

Is physically fit and healthy

Does not have any medical or behavioural condition that may pose a risk to others
If a dog displays aggressive or dangerous behaviour, Breezefield Gundogs and Dog Training reserves the right to stop the session immediately.
The owner or handler accepts full responsibility for any injury, damage, or loss caused by their dog during or as a result of a training session.
8. Liability Disclaimer
While every reasonable precaution will be taken to ensure safety during training sessions, Breezefield Gundogs and Dog Training accepts no liability for any injury, loss, illness, or damage to:

Owners or handlers
-
Guests or accompanying persons

Third parties
-
Property
All training activities are undertaken entirely at the owner’s or handler’s own risk.
9. Training Equipment
Owners are responsible for providing suitable equipment for their dog during training sessions.
This may include leads, collars, whistles, dummies, or other appropriate equipment.
Breezefield Gundogs and Dog Training cannot be held responsible for damage to personal equipment used during sessions.
All equipment must be safe and appropriate for the dog.
10. Weather and Outdoor Training
Training sessions take place outdoors and may be affected by weather conditions.
Breezefield Gundogs and Dog Training reserves the right to reschedule sessions if weather or ground conditions are unsafe.
Where possible, alternative dates will be offered.
11. Training Outcomes
Dog training results vary depending on the individual dog, handler consistency, and environmental factors.
Breezefield Gundogs and Dog Training cannot guarantee specific results.
Progress depends on continued practice and consistency outside of training sessions.
12. Photography and Video
From time to time, photos or videos may be taken during training sessions for use on the website or social media.
If you do not wish for you or your dog to appear in any content, you must notify Breezefield Gundogs and Dog Training in advance.
13. Data Protection and Privacy
Any personal information provided will be used solely for the purpose of communication, booking, and delivering training services.
Breezefield Gundogs and Dog Training will not share personal data with third parties without consent, unless required by law.
14. Website Use
The content on www.breezefieldgundogs.co.uk is provided for general information purposes only.
Breezefield Gundogs and Dog Training reserves the right to modify or update website content at any time without prior notice.
15. Changes to Terms

16. Reactive or Aggressive Dogs
Owners must disclose in advance if their dog has shown any signs of aggression, reactivity, or behavioural issues that may pose a risk to people, other dogs, livestock, or property.

Loss of deposit or full session fee
Breezefield Gundogs and Dog Training reserves the right to refuse or stop training if it is deemed unsafe to continue.
Additional safety measures may be required, including the use of appropriate equipment.
